USDA Celebrates National Women's History Month

Each year in March, USDA celebrates National Women's History Month. Sponsored by the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights, Office of Diversity, these celebrations are intended to honor the many accomplishments of our nation's women, while highlighting the value that USDA places on diversity in the work place. The 2008 opening ceremony was held on March 6 in the Jefferson Auditorium.
