Anna G. Stroman
Anna G. Stroman, a native Washingtonian, received her M.A. degree in Counseling from Bowie State University in 2000 and a Masters of Divinity degree with emphasis on Christian Counseling from Maple Springs Bible College and Seminary in 2015. She is a certified Mediator for Prince Georges County and is currently pursuing her Doctorate Degree.
Ana is an accomplished administrative and financial professional with combined expertise in policy and regulatory development, budget, strategic planning, international development, mediation, counseling, and civil rights. She began her career over 40 years ago, working in the private industry and overseas, with the development of foreign assistance to the continent of Africa.
Her federal career began as a Country Desk Officer for the Peace Corps and later as a budget analyst with the Animal Plant Health Inspection Service. Her desire to fight for the civil rights of employees, managers and the American people led her down the path of civil rights, where she now serves as the Deputy Director for OASCR’s Office of Compliance, Policy and Training.
In this capacity, Ms. Stroman is responsible for ensuring that the Department’s regulations are consistent with current civil rights laws and that all Departmental regulations, policies, executive orders, reorganizations and advisory committees are not implemented in a manner which causes an adverse impact for protected populations.
Ms. Stroman resides with her family in Mitchellville, MD.
