Guy Molock, Jr., Chief, Employment Complaints Division
Guy Molock, Jr. who joined the USDA Office of the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights in January 2016, currently serves as the Chief for the Employment Complaints Division. In this capacity, he is primarily responsible for the overall direction, management, and processing of over 500 formal complaints a year to determine whether discrimination claims are to be accepted or dismissed.
Guy began his federal career as an Assistant Judge Advocate General (JAG) with the United States Air Force Judge Advocate Corps. He then accepted a position as an Assistant U.S. Attorney with the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Washington, D.C. Guy next served as the Chief Nominations Counsel for the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee for two years before spending 10 years as a Senior Attorney in various capacities for the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts. Following seven years in the private sector as a practicing attorney, the last two working as a contract attorney in USDA’s Employment Adjudication Division, Guy returned to federal service in 2011, with NASA as a Senior Employment Specialist, in the Office of Diversity and Equal Opportunity. In this capacity, Guy was responsible for writing acceptance and dismissal letters, final agency decisions, appeals, overseeing investigations and participating on compliance review teams.
Guy is a native of Wilmington, Delaware. He attended Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, FL, where he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Guy is also a two-time graduate of Howard University where he received his Juris Doctor (JD) and Master of Divinity degrees. In 2008, Guy and his wife founded and currently serve as Pastors of the Beloved Community Church located in Accokeek, Maryland. Guy is also an active member of the Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity, Inc.
